Galvanized Steel (GI)

  

Ⅰ Product:

It is the equipment that applies zinc plating by dipping a sheet of hot-rolled steel into a molten zinc pot so as to be coated with zinc deposits.

 

Surface

1. Status: Different coating processing with different status, such as normal zinc spangle, fine spangle, formation spangle, zero spangle and phosphating  treatment surface etc.  Germany standard also need be provided surface level.

2. Galvanized sheets should have good appearance, no harmful defects, such as no plates, holes, broken and scum, over coating thickness, scratch, chromic acid dirt and white rust, etc.  Foreign standards no any clear and definite for the appearance defects. So these defects details should be stated on the contract when you order it.

 

Ⅱ Coating weight

Coating weight means for the zinc layer thickness, unit is g/m2. Japan, USA and Germany standard for the galvanized sheet coating weight as below:
